Laurich Company, Inc.

INTRODUCTION

Laurich Company, INC. is a family oriented business and was established in 1957 when the founder, Richard E. Rockwell, began building houses.  He operated the business as Richard E. Rockwell, Proprietorship until 1979 when he incorporated the business and named it Laurich Company, Inc.  The name is a combination of his wife's name (Laura) and his name (Richard) hence "Laurich."

As the business grew in addition to building houses Richard began developing land.  In 1964 Richard ventured into buying a plot of raw land and developed it into building lots.  Through the years he has continued to develop land, currently there are eight developments.  In 1985 Richard opened Laurich Building Supply, a hardware store and lumber yard.
